"what makes parent sad? The silent tears you never notice."

Nowadays and i noticed everyone is trying to tell their story on WhatsApp status, Instagram stories, Facebook photos.

Everyone wants to be heard but no one want to truly listen. We keep shouting our opinions on social media chasing for likes and validation but how to find peace in modern life?

May be it starts with more listening not talking. it start with sitting beside the old ones and avoiding media

I know social media has opened massive opportunities but mean while we are busy in sharing highlights, we often ignored our elder ones, parents or grandparents who carry deep wisdom we barely ask about.

They have lived struggle life like business without leverage, they does not seen code, media, internet. They go through so much struggle, heartbreaks, hardships and yet, they are invisible in todays loud world.                                                                                                                                                                 We claim to want peace but we scroll through post after post, reels after reels. we say we want meaning, but we ignore the ancient wisdom and elder ones.

Now the time is arrived to teach to children how to be good listener, and free from noise in the era of artificial intelligence and media.

What Google can not tell you is how it feels to sit beside our mom dad and grandfathers grandmothers.

Why I chose to listen them.

I made a small step that changed me, I started sitting with my parents and grandparents just to listen them truly.

No phone, no distractions just me and my loved one and meanwhile people laughed at me saying, " There goes ramesh again, talking to old folks." And I laughed too, because I know what was maturity, what was humanity, the very important thing that's lacking nowadays.

Listening to old ones doesn't mean waste of time it makes us emotionally wise, it teaches us how to be a good listener, how to connect without filter and how to communicate across the generation.

Because generation gap communication isn't about agreeing,
It's about respecting and understanding each others.

What they really want?

Our parents and grandparents doesn't want solutions from us. They don't need our modern opinions or Google facts. they just want someone who cares enough to stay present and feel them important because they are tired of all the stuff.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  Naval ravikant said content creation, making money, loving, ranking status in society, attention seeking all those are games and I am tired of those game's. And may be our old one's are also tired of thse games.
Now they want peace to expressing themselves, what they have stored from young time.
If you start doing this until they live believe me your parents, grand parents are the luckiest one who got such wise sons in the modern generation.
